A British consumer watchdog on Thursday filed a lawsuit against technology company Apple Corps for 768 million (approximately 900 million euros). The company has admitted to deliberately slowing down older iPhones. The affair has already caused great damage to Apple.

Ahead of a competitive appeals tribunal in London, the Consumer Watchdog accused Apple of reducing the performance of older iPhones with updates “to avoid the recall of old devices and costly repairs”. The lawsuit alleges that the lawsuit was settled out of court in the UK.
