Sony will soon launch the PlayStation 5 Pro, a more powerful and expensive version of the current PS5. One of the notable innovations in this new console is PlayStation Spectral Supersolution (PSSR).
Comparable to well-known computer technologies such as DLSS and FSR, this technology provides dramatically improved image quality through advanced upscaling. PSSR increases gaming resolution, making images sharper and more detailed without sacrificing performance.
Digital Foundry has already extensively tested PSSR technology. For now, this has only happened with Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, but the results are promising.
