Those looking for a new iPhone can pre-order the iPhone 13 from several retailers starting today. Deliveries will start next Friday at the earliest.
Earlier this week, Apple introduced the next generation of iPhone. Just as with the iPhone 12, four new models have been revealed. Most notably the return of the mini version. Despite the poor sales numbers of its predecessor, Apple still came up with a small type of iPhone.
These are all suggested devices:
- iPhone 13 Mini: 5.4 inch screen
- iPhone 13: 6.1 inch screen
- iPhone 13 Max: 6.1-inch scherm
- iPhone 13 Max Pro: 6.7-inch scherm
Limited number of innovations
As expected, the number of innovations on the iPhone 13 is limited. For example, the new A15 Bionic chip, 120Hz screens on Pro models, improved cameras and a smaller notch are selling points. The improved battery life is also a nice bonus. For example, the iPhone 13 exceeds the iPhone 12 battery by 2.5 hours. The iPhone 13 Mini and iPhone 13 Pro both perform 1.5 hours better than their predecessors.
What we don’t have yet is faster mmWave-5G technology – available only on US devices – and the ability to connect to satellites. We can probably expect these features in the iPhone 14 or 15.
