Dead by Daylight sub-project Project T has been cancelled after playtesting

Project T was announced in May 2024 by publisher Behavior Interactive. However, four months later, the game was cancelled after some playtesting.

Project T will be a PVE shooter for one to four players. As a player, as Trespasser, you will be trapped in an unknown location within The Entity’s Realm, called the Backwater.

Developer Midwinter Entertainment is at the helm of Project T, which was previously responsible for Scavengers, a free-to-play survival game, also in 2022. Canceled. It then evolved under the name Improbable Worlds Limited. The studio was later acquired by Behavior Interactive.

The development of Project T had just seen the light of day, yet playtests had already been organized. Both the publisher and the developer had to conclude that the enthusiasm for the game was not great. Then they decided not only to cancel the game, but also to close the studio.

Does the Concorde affair have anything to do with this? This didn’t get a good response from players during the beta session. However, they decided otherwise, with all the consequences that entailed.
