Faith No More Cancels Tour: La Graspop and Werchter – Muziek

American rock group Faith No More has canceled their 2022 tour across New Zealand, Australia and Europe. As a result, two Belgian concerts have also been cancelled: the band will perform at Graspop Metal Meeting in June and at Rock Werchter in July. At Graspop, the group was replaced by the Dutch symphonic metal band within Temptation.

“Due to our current challenges, we will not be ready to perform during the series of concerts planned in Australia, New Zealand, UK and Europe,” Faith No More said on social media. “It is not an option for us not to be able to perform at 100 percent after such a long period. We apologize to all ticket holders.”

No further details will be provided about the reason for the canceled tour. But the band also canceled a series of concerts in September and October due to frontman Mike Patton’s mental health issues.

Faith No More was scheduled to give a series of concerts in New Zealand and Australia in February, and will take place in about two dozen theaters in the UK and Europe in June and July.

Graspop was on the show on June 17, Rock Werchter on July 2.
