A British woman has died in her sleep on a flight from Hong Kong to England. Her family had to sit by the woman’s body for eight hours.

Midwife Helen Rhodes (46) has lived abroad for 15 years but has now returned to the UK with her family for the first time. But the woman died in her sleep during the flight. She became unresponsive and could not be revived.

The entire incident took place in the presence of her young children and her husband. They also stayed close to Mother throughout the flight. “For the remaining 8 hours of the flight, Helen lay gasping for air in her seat.
