JBL brings speaker customization tool to Belgium

From now on, you decide how your Bluetooth speaker will sound with JBL’s product customization tool. The tool is available in Belgium, Germany, France and the Netherlands.

JBL already offers a wide range of colors for its Bluetooth speakers as standard. The Charge, Clip, and Xtreme speakers are also available in a camouflage version. Want something more eye-catching or do you want to customize your speaker? That’s now possible via JBL Product Customization ToolThis currently allows you to apply your design to the Go 3, Go Essential, Clip 4, Flip 5, Flip Essential, and Charge Essential 2. So it’s not possible (yet) to customize newer speakers like the Charge 5 or Xtreme 4. To give a twist.

Personalize Your JBL Speaker: This Is How It Works

In the customizer, you always start with a white or black speaker. You can then customize this in a variety of ways:

  • Basic Design: Gives the speaker a different color or pattern. For colors, you can choose from the examples or add a color or color transition yourself. Only JBL allows you to adjust the colors of the patterns.
  • Upload Image: Do you have a really cool design or beautiful image that you would like to see on the speaker? That is possible, as long as it is copyright free. Logos are also not allowed in the image. JBL recommends using light images as they may appear darker.
  • Text: You can add text, choosing from different fonts, colors and font sizes.
  • Stickers: You can add up to three stickers to your custom speaker. You can also set the size and position on the speaker yourself.

Selection and prices are limited.

What’s interesting is that JBL currently only offers customization options on speakers that it no longer sells separately. For example, the Charge Essential 2 can’t be found in the regular JBL store, but it can be found in the customization tool. The speaker is also significantly more expensive than elsewhere, at 178.99 euros versus 102 euros in other online stores. The same goes for the Go 3 (54.99 euros versus 30 euros) and other customization models.
