Kane and Neville talk about European Championship expectations in the Netherlands

“They were so much fun,” Roy Keane told ITV, quickly dismissing the Netherlands’ chances of winning the tournament for the second time.

We had a good interest in seeing him here. It was great to see him in terms of entertainment, but the Netherlands are lagging behind, Ukraine are lagging behind and we forget about it in the final stages of the tournament – the real big teams will find them.

“They have found a way to win, but what’s frustrating and annoying to me is that we’ve talked about the status of the team, but it’s about international footballers who have not mastered the basics of football.

Gary Neville had a similar opinion.

“They can gain a little bit of confidence, but it seems like a lot more work needs to be done to get that framework to play against big teams,” Neville said.
