Kinepolis will display the Red Devils in the halls for free

Now that the Kinepolis halls are finally open again, we welcome everyone and it’s completely free. Kinepolis will play the next two games of the Red Devils in cinemas. This way you can enjoy the game on a big screen from a good cinema seat with a box of popcorn.

The group stage of the European Championship is in full swing. The Red Devils easily won their first match against Russia and now Denmark and Finland are waiting for us. You will be able to watch these matches on a big screen in the Kinepolis halls.

Football in the cinema

Kinepolis opens doors to football fans at each of its locations in our country. On Thursday 17 June and Monday 21 June, one room at each Kinpolis location will be reserved for football fans (in Brussels there are two rooms, one Dutch-speaking and one French-speaking). In each room 200 people can watch the match for free.

If you want to attend, you do not have to pay anything, but you must book in advance. And places are scarce with 200 per room. At the moment you can book tickets for the Red Devils’ matches against Denmark (Thursday 17 June) and Finland (Monday 21 June). If Belgium advances to the next round, those matches will also be shown in cinemas according to the same system.

Stijn Vanspauwen, Country Fund Manager for Sales and Marketing, Kinepolis Belgium explains the idea further. It seems that “on the evenings with the important European Championship matches, we usually receive a small number of cinema visitors.” These halls are actually perfectly equipped to watch football on the big screen. Empty cinema or allow visitors to enjoy football on the big screen with us, in explosion-proof conditions? Then the selection is made quickly. We have the perfect infrastructure to experience matches safely together, while respecting all procedures.”
