Medicine / Health, Illness | The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is changing travel guidelines for many regions in Finland

The Finnish hospital districts of Kajanaland and Länsi-Pohja go from yellow to red on the infection map, while northern Karelia and northern Savolaks go from red to yellow.

This is what the Foreign Ministry decides. The decision was made based on the weekly assessment of the pollution situation by the National Institute of Public Health and was announced on Friday.

This also changes travel advisories to Kajanaland and Länsi-Pohja, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs completely discourages non-essential travel to these areas. All travelers from these regions who come to Norway from midnight, at night until Monday April 26, and who meet the exemption criteria for the current entry rules, will be quarantined for a period of ten days upon entry. The egg.

In principle, only foreigners who live in Norway can travel to Norway.

At the same time, the International Family Health Organization recommends removing quarantines upon entry to Finnish hospital areas in North Karelia and North Savolaks. For this reason, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has exempted travel destinations for these areas, as the European infection map is switched from red to yellow.
