Delft, July 21, 2021 – Logius Agency, part of the Ministry of Interior and Kingdom Relations, has awarded a framework agreement to Netcompany. The agreement consists of providing application services to support Logius’ core operation, including means of authentication, digital mail, and notifications such as DigiD and MijnOverheid, to both citizens and businesses. The term of the agreement is a maximum of four years and a maximum value of 255 million euros.

As an agency, Logius is responsible for the digital government service and standards that all government organizations use in their digital services. Many of the products and services for which Logius was founded are of vital importance to Dutch citizens and businesses. For Logius and its clients, they are often “mission mission systems”. Therefore, the continuity, reliability, security and stability of the applications to be managed are of great importance.
Cooperation Scope
Logius has contracted five suppliers for a framework agreement under which application services are provided to support the initial operation. The activities falling under this are management and maintenance, (further) development, migration, (re)relocation, quality assurance, (ad hoc) advice and provision of service integration. Logius wants to take a step into containerization, the SAFe/Agile method, automation and integrated monitoring.
