Brailsford also remains the senior head of the WorldTour Ineos-Grenadiers team that belongs to our compatriot Laurens De Plus. This year he will manage the team alongside Rod Ellingworth. “Also because we are in a good shape to prepare for the new season.”

Sir Dave Brailsford wants to have a kind of cross-pollination between different sports. “I have the ambition to spread the new ideas that are emerging throughout the Ineos collection.”

In Formula 1, Ineos teamed up with Mercedes-AMG Petronas, sailing with Sir Ben Ainsley, who hopes to become the first Briton to ever win the America’s Cup. In football, Ineos owns French first-division team OGC Nice and Swiss Super League club FC Lausanne Sport and is a partner of Racing Club Abidjan, the first division team from Ivory Coast. In rugby, Ineos is a performance partner for New Zealand’s Black team. Additionally, other initiatives are supported, such as Eliud Kipchoge’s successful bid to become the first-ever marathon runner in 2019 to dive in under two hours.
