The main attractions of Super Nintendo World are Mario Kart: Koopa’s Challenge and Yoshi’s Adventure. The park also includes an attraction called Bowser Jr. Shadow Showdown, which uses augmented reality and Kin-like features, where players wave their arms in front of the projector to play.

Bowser Junior can only access Shadow Showdown when visitors collect different numeric keys. Super Nintendo World is an interactive world where visitors use a wearable bracelet with an app to play in the park. Many keys are hidden in the world and players have to solve puzzles to obtain them. For example, there is a POW block that you must hit with a projectile just in time to unlock a key.

Visitors can collect virtual coins and stamps by exploring Nintendo World and competing with others in real time for the amount raised. The scores obtained by your visitors are shown in the mobile application. It’s dealt daily, all the time or for individual rounds, like Mario Kart.

After the opening of Super Nintendo World in Japan, it is set to roll out at Universal Gardens in Orlando, Hollywood and Singapore. Construction in Orlando Park was temporarily suspended in late 2020 due to the ongoing pandemic, but has now resumed. However, it is not yet clear when Super Nintendo World will open its doors in these parks.
