Fingerprint Scanners
The fingerprint scanner has not been around since then. A few years ago, the fingerprint scanner was basically placed in three places on a phone: on the front, back, or side. we asked you in 2016 What do you think is the best place for such a fingerprint scanner. Outside The result I found that only 9 percent preferred to use the scanner on the side, in the power button. A majority of 51 percent preferred the scanner on the front, and 38 percent preferred the scanner on the back of the phone. The remaining 2 percent chose another location.
Oh, by “in front” we meant by physical or capacitive Home button. We only saw current in-display fingerprint scanners for the first time in 2018. That was at the CES tech show in Las Vegas. Furthermore, the sensor locations have remained largely unchanged and Xiaomi or Samsung may have changed this technology to a large extent by using a fingerprint scanner all over the screen.
