Will the Google Pixel 9 series be expanded this year with the Pixel 9 Pro Fold?

Google’s successor to the Pixel Fold, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, could become part of the Pixel 9 series and get a new screen resolution.

Unfortunately, the Google Pixel Fold of 2023 is not yet released in Belgium. Its successor could appear here if we are to believe the latest rumors and leaks. And this is what we hear from it, among other things Robot Police The Pixel 9 series may be expanded with the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.

Pixel 9 Pro Fold or Pixel Fold 2?

Several sources are suggesting that Google will announce its next foldable smartphone at the upcoming Pixel launch event. This appears to be the successor to the Pixel Fold or Pixel Fold 2. However, people are now mainly talking about the so-called Pixel 9 Pro Fold.

So the new foldable smartphone could be part of the upcoming Pixel 9 series. This gives us hope that it will be released here as well. This is of course not a guarantee, but it would be strange if not a single model from the series appeared here.

New information about the next boy

Last year’s Pixel Fold was an interesting alternative to Samsung’s new foldable device, the Galaxy Z Fold 5. However, there was also room for improvement. It now has Robot body Shared information about some of the changes we’re likely to see on the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.

However, with the new update, you can finally open apps side by side in portrait mode.

This option is suggested to be added in preparation for the release of Google’s next foldable smartphone.

Furthermore, Android Authority has also spotted a new screen resolution for the Pixel Fold successor in the Android code. The new device’s foldable display will apparently have a resolution of 2076 x 2152 pixels. We don’t know the exact screen size, but the previous model had a 7.6-inch display with a resolution of 2208 x 1840 pixels.

Fortunately, we don’t have to wait long to find out if a new foldable phone will indeed be added to the Pixel 9 series and if it will be available here as well. Google will unveil the Pixel 9 series during its “Made by Google 2024” event on August 13.
