Material area Photos that have surfaced on Reddit may show a new bike computer from Wahoo. The Wahoo Element ACE, as the device is called, appears to be the brand’s new flagship for electronics, including a touchscreen and perhaps even a built-in aerodynamic sensor.

Unconfirmed images appeared on a Reddit forum page this week, possibly showing the packaging of a new Wahoo cycling computer. Not long after, digital images also emerged showing the device itself better. The packaging images in particular reveal a few things about the Wahoo Elemnt ACE.

For example, you can read that the bike computer has a 3.8-inch touch screen. This is an eye-catching update, given that current models of Wahoo’s bike computers don’t yet have a touchscreen, but only operate with a few buttons. It appears that the lights that were located next to the bike’s computer screen have given way to this larger screen.

Even more surprising is that the bike computer is equipped with a wind sensor, accelerometer, altimeter and gyroscope. It’s possible that these four could work together – in combination with the power meter – as a kind of aerodynamic sensor. This would make the Wahoo Element ACE the first bike computer from a leading brand with a built-in pneumatic sensor.

Other updates to the bike computer include the addition of a USB-C charging port. The Elemnt ACE will also be equipped with a built-in speaker. It could function as a bike bell – just like the Garmin Edge 1050 introduced this year.
