Selling my old Peugeot bike which got me started cycling about 5 years ago. Used for about 3 years every day, 3 miles back and forth to work. Then the wife used it as a winter bike (that's my excuse for the somewhat obnoxious geometry at the moment). It has only been stored since the winter of 2023. Thinking it might give someone else a little joy now.
I threw out a few old tires, a worn saddle, and a couple of new tubes. The chain is freshly oiled and the gears work perfectly. However, you need to check the brakes, they work but do not press immediately.. “good”. Overall, I would say the bike would do well with an overhaul with new cables and more.
Center to top of seat tube is approximately 52-54cm. The frame worked well for me, as it's about 180cm tall. Is it possible to turn into a medium type?
