Today Huawei launched Huawei FreeBuds 4i in the Netherlands. The fully wireless earbuds feature active noise cancellation and will be available March 26th.

Huawei offers FreeBuds 4i headphones with the most important features, active noise cancellation, long battery life and fast charging. FreeBuds 4i costs € 79.99 and with the most important features this overall picture, according to Huawei, is the strongest feature of these earbuds.
Active noise cancellation and battery life
Huawei FreeBuds 4i inherits features from the FreeBuds series such as Active Noise Canceling (ANC), but a number of improvements have also been added. For example, you can now listen to music for about 10 hours on a single charge without ANC playback, while using FreeBuds 3i at Freebuds 3 3.5 and 4 hours respectively. Along with the case, FreeBuds 4i is good for 22 hours of music playback. The case is also equipped with fast charging and gives you 4 hours of listening to music for just 10 minutes.
Active Noise Cancellation or Active Noise Cancellation is a feature we don’t see often with earplugs under € 100, but Huawei has managed this for a number of years with inexpensive earplugs. Huawei states that FreeBuds 4i detects ambient noise via the built-in microphones and then generates a reverse sound wave to reduce the ambient noise. Earplugs should filter out annoying noises especially in noisy scenarios such as a busy shopping center, public transportation, train station, and office. It should also be easy to wipe the human voice away from these earplugs.
There’s also the consciousness mode. This allows you to hear your surroundings without removing the earplugs. This is especially useful if you participate in traffic on foot or by bike.
Pop music and touch controls
FreeBuds 3i’s 10mm drivers can also be found on FreeBuds 4i and they mainly focus on the strong bass tones of pop music. Just like similar earplugs, you can operate FreeBuds with touches. You can play music, make voice calls, and activate ANC. When using Huawei FreeBuds 4i with Huawei smartphones with EMUI 10.0 or higher, the shortcut is supported with a pop-up notification that appears when the charging case is opened. When pairing, the battery information of the earphones and the charging case is clearly displayed.
Design
The oval and compact design of the Huawei FreeBuds 4i is inspired by the world-famous black sand beach in Iceland. Plus, three colors are now available. In addition to the classic ceramic white and carbon black, there is also a honey red version. This color is only available on Huawei Store.
