Last week, newsletter service Substack introduced a Twitter-like service called Notes, and that service has now been released to the public.
Notes are reminiscent of Twitter but instead of sending “tweets” you send “notes” and what is called a “retweet” on Twitter is called a “retweet” in the notes. There are two different feeds in Notes, Home and Subscriber. The homepage feed displays all posts from those you follow as well as posts from others that Note’s algorithm recommends. In the subscription feed, only posts from those you follow are shown. If you want to submit posts yourself, you can submit texts, links, photos and videos.
