UK braces for disaster, urges citizens to be vigilant

A number of senior Britons are sounding the alarm to ensure their citizens are prepared for the coming years. The reason for this remarkable call? The unstable geopolitical situation and the memory of the recent global pandemic.

According to the Daily Mail, Oliver Dowden, the UK’s deputy prime minister, is advising people to make contingency plans for potential emergencies in the UK.

Supermarkets have already warned people not to panic, particularly to avoid shortages at high street chains in the British Isles.

The goal is not to panic, but to use common sense. With that in mind, it is recommended to buy basic food, radios, candles or bottled water to survive for three days and prepare a survival kit.

The government has also set up a website so citizens can know which areas are most at risk and prepare for possible nuclear attacks or flooding in coastal areas.
