Zac Brown angry at Helmut Marko: ‘Comments set mental health back for years’

Helmut Marko caused a stir with his comments about Lando Norris. Zac Brown responded sharply to Marco’s comments.

In racing news, Marko was asked about his assessment of the title clash between Max Verstappen and Lando Norris. Marko has stated that Verstappen will have the upper hand due to his mental strength, something he believes is a weak point for Norris.

Zac Brown responded strongly to these statements, saying that he was disappointed but not surprised by Marco’s comments. “Lando is an ambassador for mental health. Comments like this could set back progress in this field by 10 or 20 years.”

Marco defended his statements and explained that he was simply answering a question about who would win the world title. He pointed out that Verstappen, in his opinion, is the strongest mentally and that this is an important advantage in the championship.

“I was asked who would win the World Championship, and I said Max because he’s the strongest. Look how often Max wins or holds positions at the start. Lando is less consistent with that.”

In addition to the controversy surrounding his comments about Norris, Marko also addressed the technical discussions surrounding Red Bull’s Bib-T-tray mechanism. “With us you can only achieve this mechanism by removing many parts from the front of the car.”
