This is the Google Pixel 9 series: smarter and more options than ever

Due to all the rumors and leaks, we knew almost everything about the Google Pixel 9 series beforehand. At a major Google event, which took place in the US, the entire Pixel lineup has now been officially introduced. This applies to no less than four smartphones.

The entry-level entry into the new quad is the Google Pixel 9, which packs the same processor as its pricier siblings. That’s the Tensor G4 chip, which doesn’t offer a huge boost in processing power over last year’s Tensor G3. However, it can handle AI much better, something the search giant is investing heavily in.

Samsung Galaxy A phones get this useful search function

Samsung Galaxy A54

Circle to Search, an AI feature that gives you a new way to search for something, is coming to several Galaxy A smartphones. Samsung announced this in a press release, in which the company immediately mentioned which phones and tablets will receive the feature.

With Circle to Search, you can search visually by circling something on your smartphone screen. For example, think of a piece of clothing from someone on Instagram that you want to learn more about. You draw a circle, and Google’s AI analyzes that and displays search results.

Google Pixel Watch 3 official: Brighter screen, two sizes

Google Pixel Watch 3

At the same time as the launch of the Pixel 9 series, Google officially unveiled the Pixel Watch 3. The new smartwatch debuts in two sizes: in addition to the 41mm version, you can now also choose a 45mm version.

Google also made the bezels of the watch thinner. As a result, the smaller Watch 3 has a 10 percent larger screen than last year’s Pixel Watch 2. With the larger Watch 3, the difference is 40 percent. Another major improvement is the maximum brightness of the OLED display. It’s now 2,000 nits. That’s double the height of the Watch 2.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Screen Two

Between the Galaxy S24, Galaxy A55, Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 foldable phones, Samsung has already released a fair number of smartphones this year. And there will definitely be two more, according to the Korean site ET NewsThe Samsung Galaxy S24 FE, a cheaper flagship phone, will be launched in October. This smartphone has already appeared in rumors several times.

However, the question is whether the new Fan Edition will be released directly in the Netherlands. Its predecessor – the Galaxy S23 FE – was revealed in October last year, but the release didn’t happen until early 2024. So Samsung may have to wait a little longer with the Galaxy S24 FE.
