Samsung The One UI 6.1.1 update is rolling out to more devices. Which devices will receive the update and what can you do with the new features?
What can you do with One UI 6.1.1?
A great new feature in One UI 6.1.1 is that you can now draw something on a photo and the AI will realistically create the drawing and add it to the photo. A useful addition is Notes Assist. This translates and/or summarizes long notes for you, so you no longer have to spend time on this. You can now also quickly translate and summarize PDFs. You can also have conversations in foreign languages using Listen Mode. Speak into your device’s microphone and it will translate the sentence into a language your conversation partner can understand. This can also be done while you’re on the phone.
Don’t feel like writing an email yourself? Then give the AI some input and you’ll have a proper email in no time. You also no longer have to reply to emails yourself with suggested answers. In addition to text, the AI can create beautiful artwork in Portrait Studio and you can easily slow down any video. Circle-to-Search now delivers faster results and will give you a step-by-step solution to a math problem.
Which devices will receive the update?
The One UI 6.1.1 update is now available for the following devices: Samsung Galaxy S23, Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus, Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5, Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5, Samsung Galaxy Tab S9, Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Plus, and Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra. Want to check if you have the update? Go to Institutions -> Click Software update -> Click Download and install -> Install the update. You may not see the update yet. If all goes well, the update will be available to you one of these days.
