Afraid of spiders? Then Monster Hunter Wilds offers the solution

Are you also terrified when you see a big, fat spider? So you’re ready to have fun when you start playing Monster Hunter Wilds. The game offers a special option for players with spider phobia.

PU’s duty editor couldn’t be happier with this option, which replaces the eight-legged monsters and other insect-like creatures with green bits of slime. The option has been discovered in the open beta available to PlayStation Plus subscribers since today. Not the most creative alternative, but hey: at least here in our house we’re no longer throwing out seven colors of shit when fighting a spider.

By the way, it’s not yet clear what happens to the insect-like monsters in the full version, because the beta naturally only has a limited number of monsters to fight.

Monster Hunter Wilds will be released on February 28, 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series

It started with Metal Gear Solid on PlayStation and now you think Christopher Nolan is the Hollywood equivalent of Hideo Kojima.
