After two successful Ziggo Dome shows in 2022 and 2023, Danny Vera will return to the Ziggo Dome for the third time in a row in 2024. This time he will bring a 50-piece show orchestra: The Neon Orchestra. Not only is the arrival of his new album DNA today good news, but we can instantly count down to September 7, 2024. On September 7, 2024, Danny Vera returns to the Ziggo Dome for a new special. This evening he will be supported by the Neon Orchestra, led by British conductor Dominic Seldes, who will play new and old music. Dominic Seldes has played with all the major symphony and chamber orchestras in the UK and has worked in London recording studios for films such as Harry Potter, James Bond and The English Patient. In 2008, Dominique moved to the Netherlands to become first soloist with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in Amsterdam.
DNA
Danny Vera’s new album DNA was released today. The album was written and recorded in a short time in his hometown of Middleburg. With DNA, Danny Vera wanted to “go back to basics” – he recorded the album in one take to keep it as authentic as possible. Vera: “That’s how they did it and that’s why it seemed so good and so much fun. Imperfections are part of it, and imperfections make it perfect.
