Now that travel is becoming more and more popular again, Deurne Airport is beginning to change its route. This summer, travelers will once again be able to fly to nine destinations from the airport. Spain remains the most popular destination.
Antwerp Airport is looking forward with confidence to the summer season. “We are noticing that more and more people are starting to travel again. We are well prepared and look forward to welcoming everyone to our airport,” said CEO Eric Dumas.
Also this year, Spain remains the most popular airport holiday destination. From April, travelers will once again be able to fly to five Spanish destinations: Alicante, Malaga, Ibiza, Mallorca and Murcia. In total there are 22 departures. “Due to the good occupancy rate, TUI fly has decided to increase the frequency of flights to Alicante and Malaga. As a result, each of the destinations will be served seven times a week.”
Travelers will also be able to travel again to destinations outside Europe during the summer season. Moroccan destinations Nador and Tangiers will be offered once a week until mid-June. After that, the frequency will be increased to two flights per week. Finally, for the second year in a row, TUI fly will start flights to Avignon in France and there will also be flights to Split in Croatia twice a week. evw
