Extensive search for a woman who went missing during…

Authorities are looking for a 22-year-old Florida woman who went missing while on a road trip with her fiancé. Her boyfriend is now at home, but he refuses to talk about the disappearance.

The last time the family of 22-year-old Gabriel “Gabi” Pettito heard from the young woman was at the end of August. At the time, she was still traveling with her 23-year-old fiancé, Brian Laundry. The couple took a camper ride and regularly shared vacation snapshots on social media. They also shared widely viewed YouTube videos. But when Laundry returned home on September 1, he apparently did so alone.

The young woman’s parents reported her missing ten days later, when it turned out that they could no longer call their daughter and her fiancé had already returned home. Laundry was questioned but she refused to speak to the police about the disappearance.

“We are appealing to everyone, including Brian, to share information about her whereabouts in recent weeks,” Northport Police Chief Todd Garrison said. “Brian’s lack of information is hampering our investigation, but the answers will eventually emerge.”

Laundry’s attorney, Steve Bertolino, defended his silence. My experience is that the police quickly draw attention to the partner of a missing person. But any statement that is made can be used against him, whether or not my client has anything to do with the disappearance.”
