Google is working on an advanced AI system called Gemini, which will be superior to the system behind OpenAI’s ChatGPT. So says Demis Hassabis, co-founder and CEO of DeepMind, Google’s artificial intelligence lab.
Why is this important?
In 2016, the AlphaGo artificial intelligence program from Google DeepMind AI Lab beat the champion player of the board game Go, which was later considered a historic event. DeepMind is now working on a new AI system called Gemini, which uses technologies from AlphaGo and the powerful language capabilities of models like GPT-4.in the news. in meeting with WiredHasbas pays tribute to Gemini, which is still under development.
