The Gran Turismo franchise has been around for 25 years, and to celebrate that, Gran Turismo 7 has been on shelves since the beginning of this month. Or you can simply download this 118 GB giant on your Playstation. Fortunately, due to some issues with the delivery of the new PS5, the game was also released on PS4. With the previous version, the GT Sport, we thought the graphic limits of this console had been reached, but it’s clear that it could be done better and more detailed, as Gran Turismo 7 proves.
Many things from previous versions have been kept, for example you still have to take driving tests (again) to get licenses to participate in competitions. Getting a bronze medal in these tests, and therefore your license, is not difficult, but if you want to buy an additional car as a reward, it is good to get gold all around. You can also buy cars in GT7 at the dealership (Brand Central). If you do not want to spend a lot, you can also take a look at the used car garage, which will return to you very welcome. Have you already played several games and some money left? Then there’s also the new Legends Cars, a very exclusive garage where you can buy (expensive) dream cars like the street version McLaren F1 or Porsche 911 GT1 for a short period of time.
However, the most surprising new thing is the Gran Turismo Café that will guide you through the game through missions during the first days and weeks. For example, you have to drive certain competitions in order to collect three cars of each theme (Ferrari, Mustang, AMG, etc.). From here you will also be introduced to GT Auto, where you can customize your car and the Tuning Shop. Don’t forget to connect too: there’s no problem with racing online and you can still see other people’s photos and download livers through the community. We’ve already found a player who perfectly transformed the WRT Audi for Valentino Rossi and Frédéric Vervich, so a photo on the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps cannot be missed. The Nürburgring Nordschleife and Brands Hatch, among others, will also make a welcome return to the legendary Trial Mountain circuit (at Gran Turismo).
