In Sweden, a man tore pages from the Quran in a mosque and set it on fire. Silwan Momica received permission from the police earlier in the day to take part in his anti-Islam protest. Such measures are also very sensitive outside of Sweden, which could make it difficult for the country to become a NATO member.
Mumika herself is an Iraqi refugee who criticizes Islam. To emphasize this, he sets fire to the pages and places bits of bacon on the Qur’an. FYI: In Islam, pigs are considered unclean animals, so it was only meant to shock them.
Another man was arrested for throwing rocks at Momica. The police managed to arrest him before he could put his intentions into action. According to Aftonbladet, about 200 people attended the Stockholm mosque.
