At the beginning of September 2018, seven young people from Antwerp decided to form a clique. They know each other through different channels: from school, from the youth institution or boarding school they attended or simply from the neighborhood. Whatever their background, from now on they refer to each other as their “family from the street.” But in the following months, they became known to police as the “Hearing, Seeing and Speak Silent Gang”. You are only allowed in if you are willing to do terrible things and, above all, do not attack each other. “He betrayed my family from the streets. And you know what we do to traitors.”
