October 22, 2024 | Universities should conduct science with citizens, not just with citizens, this was agreed during a meeting on open science in Utrecht. However, the academy is intimidating for many, and distrust of science is high in some places. Théon Gauthier, Catering Director at House of Active Citizenship, offered some advice: Reach out to trusted key figures within communities, and through them build a relationship with the community itself.
