‘I want him out’: Alaska GOP Senator Lisa Murkowski calls on Trump to resign

“I want him to resign. I want to kick him out. He has done enough damage, ”he said Anchorage Daily News.

Ms. Murkowski spoke two days after pro-Trump rioters stormed the legislature, prompting the president to march on the building earlier Wednesday.

“I think he should leave. He said he was not going to show up. He is not going to appear at the inauguration ceremony. He did not pay attention to what was going on with Kovid, ”he told the shop.

“Whether he plays golf or he’s inside the Oval Office, he starts with the Vice President and throws every person who is loyal to him under the bus,” said Mike Pence, echoing the others who called for the President’s treatment.

“She is OK. He wants to stay there only for the title. He wants to stay there only for his ego. He had to leave. He should go for the good thing, but I don’t think he’s capable of doing a good thing. “

Ms Murkovsky acknowledged that Mr Trump was unlikely to resign.

He also said that if the Republican Party could not separate itself from Mr Trump, he was not sure about his future with it.

“I can tell you, if the Republican Party is none other than Trump’s party, I really question whether this is a party for me.”

Ms. Murkowski has always been one of the Republican members of Congress.

In the past, Mr. Trump has promised a primary incentive against Ms. Murkowski for re-election in 2022.
