It has been clear for months that PEC Zwolle is very good for the Kitchen Champion segment. Zwolle has been at the top of the classification for a long time and the question was not if the club would be promoted, but when.
It was actually possible last weekend, but the city of Almere spoiled the party at the last minute. The number three was trailing 2-0 to ADO but turned the match into a 2-3 win. A week later, PEC went up after all by drawing with Almere, of all places.
