New dates LNV attaché network 2023

This week, new boards were appointed in 6 Dutch embassies in the foreign network of the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality (LNV). These are Accra, Cairo, Madrid, Mexico City and Seoul. The presence of the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality at the Dutch Embassy in Copenhagen will be expanded with an on-site council, reports the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality.

In addition, two LNV attachés are appointed: in London and at the Permanent Representative (PV) of the European Union (EU) in Brussels. All involved will start in the summer of 2023, except for the attache position in the PV EU: this appointment became effective on April 1.

The following persons have been appointed:
PV EU, Brussels
Ms. Lisa van den Bogarde started her career on the 1st of April as the Netherlands PV Attaché in the European Union (EU) in Brussels, with a focus on nature and biodiversity. Until recently, Ms. Van den Boogaard worked as a Policy Officer in the Department for European, International and Agricultural Economic Policy in the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality.

Accra, Ghana
Ms. Inge Tineglow has been appointed to the position of Agriculture Consultant in Accra, with Ghana and Nigeria as the work area. Ms. Tenniglo is currently a Senior Policy Officer in the Department of European and International Policy and Agricultural Economic Policy in the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality. The current Agricultural Council, Mr Bram Wits, will return to the Department of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality this summer.

Cairo Egypt
Mr. Tycho Vermeulen has been appointed as the Agricultural Council in Cairo, with Egypt and Jordan as the field of work. Mr. Vermeulen is currently working as a Senior Inspector and Coordinating Specialist Inspector at the Netherlands Consumer Product and Food Safety Authority. Mr. Melly Leinstra, who is currently working for the Board of Agriculture on the Site, will return to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in The Hague.

Copenhagen, Denmark
Ms. Kirsten Peters has been appointed to the position of Agriculture Consultant in Copenhagen, with Denmark, Sweden and Norway as the field of work. Ms. Peters is currently the Senior Policy Officer in the Agricultural Chains and Animal Welfare Department of the Department of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality.

Madrid Spain
Mr. Machell Commerce is appointed as the Agricultural Board in Madrid, with Spain and Portugal as the field of action. Mr. Commers is currently the External Procedures Adviser to the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality. The current Board of Agriculture, Mrs. Nina Berendsen, will return to the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality.

Mexico City, Mexico
Mrs. Wendele van der Wiele has been appointed as the Agriculture Consultant in Mexico City, with Mexico and Cuba as the work area. Ms. van der Wiele is now the Partners for Water (ai) Program Coordinator at RVO. The current Board of Agriculture, Mr. Erik Plaisier, will return to another position in the Netherlands Foreign Network.

Seoul, South Korea
Mr. Rick Noble is appointed to the Seoul Board of Agriculture, with South Korea and Taiwan as the field of work. Mr. Noble is now the agricultural attache in Bangalore, India. He succeeds Ms. Gellar Nadir in Seoul, who will return to the Ministry of Agriculture this summer.

London, UK
Dame Jojanne van Andel was appointed Agricultural Attaché in London, with the United Kingdom as the area of ​​work. You will work under the leadership of the Board of Agriculture, Mr. Philippe de Jong. Ms. Van Andel is currently a Policy Officer in the Department of European, International and Agricultural Economic Policy in the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality.
