There are several leading showcase festivals in Europe, such as Eurosonic in the Netherlands and the Reeberbahn Festival in Hamburg. In the United Kingdom, all eyes will once again be on the seaside town of Brighton in May, where The Great Escape takes place. One of the artists who managed to make it to the queue was 21-year-old Guy Bosch. The young Brit released her debut EP last year slippery It made our list of the best EPs of 2022, and the successor isn’t long in coming. We already had the first single “My Jeans” in January and now there are more new works.
Bosch often incorporates his own experiences into his songs, which are undoubtedly very recognizable to the queer community. For example, the new “Moths” is about falling in love with a person who is not emotionally ready to take further steps. You can also hear that emotional side in the music, because the depression isn’t hidden this time. However, we also hear a certain joy in “Moths” which we totally appreciate and gives this single a golden edge.
