Nick Cave and Warren Ellis will be in Antwerps…

Good news for Nick Cave fans. He will attend with companion Warren Ellis on Tuesday 19 October at Stadsschouwburg in Antwerp.

Cave and Ellis are touring together as a duo for the first time, following the release of their critically acclaimed album massacre. They are currently performing 24 concerts in the UK.

Although they had already composed and recorded the soundtrack together, Ellis had been part of The Bad Seeds for a long time, massacre Only the duo’s first full-length single album.

Their paths first intersected in 1993, when Ellis played the violin on several songs for the Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds album Let Love In, after which he joined the band as a full member. The two also recorded music together for their band Grinderman which formed in 2006 and have collaborated on numerous films and television, including Presentation of the sermon, the proposal, the proposal employment Jesse James assassination.

He will be joined by Cave and Ellis on the musical stage by Johnny Hostile and supporting singers Wendi Rose, T Jae Cole and Janet Ramus.

Tickets for their joint concert are on sale from Friday, September 24th at 10am via www.stadsschouwburg.be.
