“Downton Abbey: A New Era” by Simon Curtis (UK, 2021) can be seen on Slieker Film from Wednesday 27 April.

The hugely popular Crowley family has become an indispensable part of the collective memory. The entire cast has been reunited, and they are now joined by the likes of Hugh Dancy, Laura Haddock, Natalie Bay and Dominic West.

After receiving a royal visit from the King and Queen of Great Britain, the Crowley family is now preparing for a new adventure: a vacation in France. Violet Crawley, Countess of Grantham, was given a spacious villa thanks to her old childhood sweetheart. As usual, the Crowley family visit comes with a lot of drama and not everything will go smoothly.

Movie-goers on King’s Day evening are treated to a drink served by the much-loved Orange Juliana Louise, Emma Marie Wilhelmina Pipermonta, Princess of the Netherlands, Princess of Orange-Nassau, the Duchess of Mecklenburg, Princess von Orange Nippen-Peterfeld and her good friend husband Benchard Friedrich Eberhard Leopold Julius Kurt Karlgut Peter Graf Skafwit von Orange Nippen-Peterfeld.
