Rage Against The Machine cancels tour through Europe and United Kingdom | program

Rage Against the Machine has canceled a UK and European tour to give frontman Jack de la Rocha extra time to recover from an injury sustained during this year’s show on July 11.

In a statement, the group said they would still perform in the US on Friday 12th and Sunday 14th August, but then the band would take a break. For example, shows in Antwerp and Hanover have been cancelled.

“The medical team has decided that it is better for Zach to take time to heal. Therefore, there will be no shows in the UK and Europe in August and September. “We are extremely disappointed by this cancellation announcement,” the band continued. “The flights, travel time and tight scheduling are too big a risk for a full recovery.”

De La Rocha injured his leg during a performance in July. Since then, he has been conducting band performances from a chair. A total of thirteen shows have been cancelled, including the Leeds Festival.
