Red Bull is competing in the UK’s first major Fortnite event

Red Bull will host the UK’s first major Fortnite event this summer, when the Red Bull Tournament takes place in Scotland in June. The event will be a Fortnite building tournament as the best Fortnite players from around the world head to McEwan Hall in Edinburgh, all in one day on June 10th.

According to a press release announcing the event, the event will have a unique singles format consisting of eight rounds, but will add a twist to the traditional point system, as the final four rounds are worth twice the value of the regular points.

As for who will be in attendance, we’ve been told that Martin “Mr. Savage” Foss Andersen, Harry “Veno” Pearson, Thomas “Th0masHD” Høxbro Davidson, Jaden “Wolfeez” Ashman and more will be joining the competitive Fortnite scene. Zachariah ‘Pink’ Siddall, among many names.

Amateur players from the UK and EU can qualify for the event by taking part in the open online qualifiers on May 20 and 21, and tickets for fans who want to take part will go on sale from April 10, we’re told.
