Saints Row reboot delayed, won’t release until August 2022

The game announced earlier this year was planned for release on February 25, 2022, but that is no longer possible. This ensures that the developer can create the best end product possible, said Jim Boone, Volition’s chief communications officer.

“Our priority is to deliver the best Saints Row game to date. If we had launched the game in its original history, we would not have reached the level we set for ourselves that you expect and deserve. The team just needed more time to live up to our vision. We will fine-tune it, though we We’re not going to completely fix the game outside of higher quality.”

Saints Row was revealed earlier this year during Gamescom’s inaugural Night Live opening. Since it’s a reboot, there are all-new characters and gangs. Players are the leader of a new gang working alongside three computer-controlled characters. They face three other gangs: Los Panteros, The Idols, and Marshall Defense Industries. The goal is to drive out other gangs and build their own criminal empire.

Saints Row will be released on August 23, 2022 on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, S, and Xbox One. check here Preview appeared on PU.nl.
