Samsung launches beta program for One UI 4.0, Android 12 on the way

Samsung has started its beta program for the new One UI 4.0 software based on Android 12. This means that Samsung is developing the latest version of Android for various Galaxy phones.

Samsusng One UI 4.0.0 Update

Every year, Samsung tests new Android versions from Google through its beta program. This year, the launch of Android 12 is planned (most likely on October 4) and Samsung will be meticulously testing the new capabilities of this Android version in its beta program. Everything should work fine in the end with the cover of the Samsung software itself, which is called One UI 4.0. Samsung today announced its latest beta build in its home country of Korea, Reports Sammobile. This means that Android 12 is on its way to Galaxy phones.

As usual, the first Galaxy S series eligible for testing are the Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 Plus and Galaxy S21 Ultra. The first beta version will be available soon. More Galaxy phones will be added to the program later, as will the number of countries in which the new software can be tested. These will likely be China, Germany, India, the United Kingdom and the United States. For example, if you have a German version of one of the phones listed above, it is possible to install the update. An update notification will appear in the Samsung Members app, similar to previous years.

One UI 4.0 stable release released

Samsung promised last year to release One UI 3.0 for the Galaxy S20 series before the end of December 2020. The company has fulfilled that promise. In December, smartphones in the Netherlands and Belgium received the update. So we hope Samsung will maintain a similar schedule this year, with Android 12 running on the S21 series around Christmas and New Years.
