Science Weekend at Saturnus Observatory

Herhogaward – Science is everywhere and always around us, sometimes without us even realizing it. It is the foundation of technology, medicine, and our knowledge of the world around us. But how much do we actually know about the science behind our daily lives?

Herhogaward – Science is everywhere and always around us, sometimes without us even realizing it. It is the foundation of technology, medicine, and our knowledge of the world around us. But how much do we actually know about the science behind our daily lives?

Science Weekend is a free festival for young and old with scientists, exciting experiments, fascinating lectures and inspiring discoveries. The festival is organized by the NEMO Science Museum on behalf of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science.

The Saturn Observatory has space that will amaze you, and during Science Weekend everyone can get a look behind the scenes. “This weekend we’re thinking about the question: ‘How does it work?’ “Young and old can search for answers,” the observatory board said. “We would like to take you on a fascinating journey through our space. When the weather is clear, we are happy to let you look at the starry sky through our telescopes. Unclear? There is an alternative program.

A planetary path has been created in the park adjacent to the observatory. Nine posts provide information about the relevant celestial body via a QR code. This is how you get around the solar system.

The Saturn Observatory is open on the following days: Friday, October 6 from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm; Saturday, October 7 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM; Sunday, October 8 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Free admission. Financial contribution is welcome.
