Activision and Sledgehammer Games will kick off Season 2 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 on Wednesday.
Season 2 begins on February 7, 2024 at 7:00 PM our time. In Season 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will feature four new multiplayer maps. Three of them will be available immediately on February 7, with the fourth map arriving in the game later in the mid-season update. Plus, Resurgence Map Fortune’s Keep returns, there are new weapons, new attachments, an all-new Battle Pass, new in-game events, and ranked play comes to traditional multiplayer and Call of Duty: Warzone.
Here’s what you can expect in Season 2 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Call of Duty: Warzone:
- Weapons: Season 2 continues to drop weapons with four new primary weapons you can use: the BP50 AR, RAM-9 SMG, SOA Subverter BR, and the Soulrender combat sword.
- Attachments: You can unlock seven aftermarket parts, including the under-barrel JAK Limb Ripper saw, perfect for carving zombie flesh!
- Become the elite of the undead with BlackCell: Purchase and gain exclusive access to a special cadre of undead agent skins, led by the skeletal John Doe: all resplendent in dripping gold with an ethereal purple glow!
- Rick Grimes and Kate Lasswell lead the Battle Pass for Season 2: Purchase the Season 2 Battle Pass and unlock Rick Grimes from AMC’s The Walking Dead and Station Chief Kate Laswell.
- New offer in store: Play as Michonne from AMC’s The Walking Dead, “Let ’em Cook” with the new CDL Pack and celebrate Black History Month on February 8 with a free gift pack filled with cultural inspiration designed by our team.
- New challenges, events and progress: Learn all about the weekly challenges and Season 2 events, from exclusive Undead rewards when you start a Horde Hunt, and see Prestige rewards as you work your way to level 450.
