NaGa Solar, based in Maastricht, is part of Ampyr Solar Europe and is involved in developing solar projects in the Netherlands, Germany and the UK. Together, the group has more than 200 projects under development in Europe.
Planning
The company even initiated a plan to create a solar park at that site in Oirlo. Bureau Verbeek Landscape Architecture was involved in the plan to provide advice and support on issues such as planning, landscaping, social integration and social responsibility.
Fences will be put up around the solar park in these months and construction of the solar park will actually start next month. It is expected that the solar panels will be installed on an area of approximately 3.5 hectares by the end of October 2023. From then on, the solar farm should produce approximately 3,300 megawatt-hours of electricity per year.
In addition to this project, Naga Solar is also currently developing a solar park of about 5 hectares in Echt-Susteren. In various other locations, NaGa Solar is in talks with municipalities about possibilities for ground-based solar parks.
