Sony officially announces The Last of Us Part II Remastered

After a lot of leaks, Sony finally did it The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered Announce. You don’t have to wait long to play the game, because it will be released for PS5 on January 19, 2024.

The Last of Us Part II Remastered has been revealed via the impressive trailer below. Thanks to the extensive post on PlayStation BlogWe also get a lot of details from the edited version. Therefore, the title receives many improvements and updates.


This remastered version receives several graphical improvements, DualSense controller support, several new modes, and director commentary during cutscenes.

The biggest addition to The Last of Us Part II Remastered is the brand new survival mode No Return. Here you have to survive a series of enemies. The great thing is that each character has unique skills and traits that suit different playstyles.

You can choose your own rewards for each round in No Return. Next round a little more Incognito Approaching? Or will you choose a brutal combat style of play? Eventually, you’ll be able to unlock new characters and skins that you can use in your next session. Are you competitive? Then it’s up to you to prove yourself through the leaderboards.

The game will also contain many missing levels. These are brand new locations that have not yet been completed, as they were omitted from the final version of the game. The goal is to give players more knowledge about the development process, as you can also listen to developer feedback.

We also get: A complete Free Play Guitar mode where the player can play the guitar or other instruments for as long as they want.
