Storm Lillian is moving across the UK

Storm Lillian will hit the northern part of the UK on Thursday evening and Friday night. Code Yellow applies to heavy winds and rain.

The British Met Office said this area of ​​low pressure will move across the country this evening and overnight. Wind gusts of 80 to 95 kilometers per hour are likely, with local gusts of up to 120 kilometers per hour. Also, 20 to 30 millimeters of rain will fall in the region and 40 to 50 millimeters inland in 12 hours.
