The Day Before studio has already started a new project

amazingthe studio behind The Day Before scam, has canceled its latest project Escape Factory due to insufficient interest. However, the developer is not giving up, as it is immediately launching a new campaign on Kickstarter for the game called “Items”. According to the studio, users are most interested in the “item hunting game.”

In a message on X, Fntastic announced that there was very little interest in Escape Factory. The Kickstarter campaign likely wouldn’t reach its goal, so the studio paused development of the game and the Kickstarter was cancelled. The amount raised has not been collected.

However, Fntastic is not giving up even after this setback. While announcing a “hiatus” for Escape Factory, the studio said that the “prop chaser and horror” game would be more marketable. And so the studio takes its chance again with Elements.

To develop the items, the studio needs “a fair number of resources.” That’s why the team decided to release several mobile games to fund the development of items. The developer will likely launch another Kickstarter in the future, if necessary.

Last year, the developer from Singapore caused a lot of uproar among gamers when it took its survival game The Day Before offline three days after its release. The developer had promoted the project for two years with false promises and was unable to meet high expectations.

Does Fntastic deserve another chance? What do you think?
