The Microsoft OneDrive app gets a new Start screen and more

New update ready for Microsoft OneDrive app. Microsoft File Manager gets a new start screen and additional improvements.

OneDrive with improvements

Microsoft made a number of improvements to the OneDrive Android app. The cloud business platform online gets a new home page. This displays memories at the top, for example with photos you took of yourself that day a few years ago. If you use OneDrive with a work or school account, you won’t see reminders, but you can quickly access shared folders.

Below is a space for recent files, followed by offline files. At the bottom of the screen, you’ll find a navigation bar that gives access to files, shared files, photos, and your profile.

Several new features have also been added to the OneDrive app. You can now play 8K videos from the OneDrive app. The same goes for Samsung Motion Photos, which you can now play directly from the Microsoft app. You no longer need to download it to your device first.

Microsoft OneDrive 6.23 is now rolling out through the Google Play Store. You can download via the button below.
