With the Galaxy A52s, Samsung is bringing the October update to the most popular Galaxy phone of 2021.
Galaxy A52s October 2023 update
The Galaxy A52s is and continues to be one of the coolest Samsung phones in recent years. After the 4G and 5G models of the Galaxy A52 were plagued by chip shortages in 2021, Samsung has released the A52s. The device proved very popular, especially thanks to the ultra-fast hardware of the A-series. It wasn’t until 2023 when Samsung released another A-series phone with the Galaxy A54 that could rival the A52s in terms of processing power.
Today, the Galaxy A52s is the first A52 model to receive the October update. The A528BXXS5EWJ1 firmware version does only one thing: install the patch mentioned above. It contains 34 security improvements for Android, including one important fix for phones with a Qualcomm processor. Yes, also for A52s.
None of Samsung’s One UI security improvements can be found in regular, everyday apps.
You will not look for any functional or visible changes this month. But don’t worry: The Galaxy A52s will also get a big upgrade to Android 14 later this year, including all the new features in One UI version 6.0.
Availability
You can now install the October update on Unbranded Galaxy A52s in the Netherlands and Belgium. Moreover, it already exists for Vodafone described Device variable. As usual, you can wait for the update to appear automatically – or you can check its availability manually via Settings -> Software Update -> Download and Install.
